Hay gente que opina que nunca se deben dar segundas oportunidades. Otros, aseguran que segundas partes no son buenas.
Bueno...no me importa.
La historia del hombre es una historia de evolución. Y esta se da en todos los aspectos: evolución tecnológica, evolución biológica, evolución en la comunicación, evolución teológica...todo, desde la forma en que expresamos nuestros deseos, sentimientos o pensamientos hasta la ciencia que trata de explicar o entender todo cuanto nos rodea evoluciona. Y no es siempre todo para bien: nuestro armamento, los métodos que tenemos para agredirnos unos a otros, también ha evolucionado. Incrementamos la cantidad de maneras en que matarnos, y aumentamos su crueldad. Hay que tener en mente que pasamos de lanzar una gran piedra a la cabeza de nuestro enemigo, matándolo de un traumatismo, a lanzar un misil, con suerte un simple Tomahawk, sin ella, una bomba atómica o una bomba H, para acabar con la vida de millones de personas en un instante.
Pero en suma, casi toda evolución relacionada al ser humano es una evolución de la razón, de su capacidad de pensamiento. Que en el camino este raciocinio se pierda, degenerando en, como decía, nuevas formas de matar, no quita que sea una evolución del intelecto humano: la pólvora empleada para lanzar un proyectil, los motores a reacción que permiten el lanzamiento de un misil, las reacciones nucleares que provocan la devastación de una bomba atómica, son todo avances científicos de gran importancia que, como se suele decir, cayeron en manos equivocadas. El fuego nunca debió pasar de manos del neandertal científico, o chamán en aquellos lejanos tiempos, al guerrero. Ese fue el error.
Sin embargo, al fin y al cabo, si cualquiera de estos avances se hubiese perdido entre las grandes pilas de apuntes de los hombres que los estudiaban, la historia no sería hoy tal y como la conocemos: podría ser peor, podría ser mejor, o podría ser simplemente diferente. De todos modos y como he recordado hace poco, por cosas de la vida, lo pasado pasado está, uno no puede desperdiciar el tiempo en imaginar cómo sería hoy el mundo sin esto o aquello, porque esto y aquello ya forman parte de nuestro mundo. Y como viajar en el tiempo por ahora no es posible, y de todas maneras viajar al pasado es teóricamente imposible, lo que forma parte de nuestro mundo seguirá formándolo.
En definitiva, lo que podemos, y debemos hacer, es mirar al futuro. Y por eso escribo hoy. La vida es cambio, se evoluciona en una vida del mismo modo que se evolucionó durante toda la historia, solo que a distinto nivel. Y simplemente quiero pasar página de mi antigua forma de llevar el blog, en casi todos los sentidos. Para empezar, y lo que veo más importante, es que dejaré de sentir el recelo habitual a publicar relatos que escribo en internet. Es decir, que algunas de las entradas serán ahora partes de relatos que voy escribiendo. No capítulos, sino partes, ya que lo que ocupa un capítulo de un relato en proceso no lo se ni yo mismo. Además de eso, me olvidaré de ese blog alternativo en inglés. ¿Por qué? Porque ahora todas las entradas irán en ambos idiomas. Eso sí, no me fijaré, como lo hacía con el blog alternativo, en traducir las mismas frases, las mismas palabras. Escribiré algo en español, y cuando termine, expresaré lo mismo pero de la manera que me vaya viniendo a la cabeza en inglés. Bueno, tal vez no todas las entradas. No sé si iré traduciendo también los relatos que vaya introduciendo en el blog, eso ya lo decidiré, aunque seguramente no lo haga. Y por último, aunque las entradas seguirán diferenciándose por la temática (sociedad, filosofía, actualidad, psicología, etcétera), los títulos de las entradas serán, como en este caso, frases o expresiones sin más, eso sí, relacionadas con el tema en cuestión. Algunas irán en inglés, otras en español, pero de todas formas es fácil traducir una frase corta como la que ocuparía un título.
Entonces, ¿qué no cambiará?
Bueno, para empezar, y obviamente, mi, por llamarlo de una manera llamativa para los hechos que están ocurriendo en nuestro territorio, política democrática. Cualquiera es libre de comentar cualquier entrada con cualquier comentario, aceptando por mi parte sugerencias, opiniones, y siempre tratando de responder a preguntas o debatir, que no discutir, puntos de vista contrarios o simplemente diferentes. El debate me apasiona, así que cuanto más, mejor; the more the merrier. Además, el estilo del blog, el color y demás estética, seguirá intacto. Pero como acabo de decir, acepto sugerencias de cualquier tipo: otro color, otro formato, otros gadgets (los chismes que hay a la derecha, como los seguidores, la encuesta, aún activa por cierto, y demás. Por cierto, chisme es una de las traducciones de google para gadget). Y por supuesto, mis ideales, mi filosofía, no ha cambiado. Si bien tal vez me he vuelto un tanto más escéptico, no tanto por voluntad propia como por culpa de la vida misma. Temas personales que no vienen al caso. Sigo creyendo en la justicia, sigo siendo ateo, sigo a favor de la paz, y en contra de la guerra, que no es una condición necesaria para estar a favor de la paz. En fin, esas cosas, como siempre, se irán viendo en las distintas entradas. Seguiré intentando tratar temas actuales de importancia cuando los haya, y cuando los conozca. Y bueno, las puntadas cómicas seguirán rondando por cada entrada. La seriedad es aburrida. Y la vida es corta.
Tal vez, y es un tal vez de "seguramente lo haga pero alomejor me canse y no siga", pondré alguna letra de alguna canción, relacionada a la entrada en la que vaya a poder ser, y algún que otro poema, escrito por mí quiero decir, tal vez antiguo tal vez actual. Poema, o frase, ya que en ocasiones se me ocurren frases que, por no apuntar, se pierden en mi (pequeña) memoria. Y aquí pueden quedar grabadas.
Por supuesto las frases célebres de personajes históricos importantes seguirán apareciendo, ya que me apasionan. También.
Y por ahora eso es todo, espero no dejar nada en el tintero. Tintero virtual, claro está. Creo que mañana, si lo paso al ordenador, pondré por primera vez una parte de un relato que empecé a escribir no mucho tiempo ha.

So here I am, ready for a new age, or just a new beginning. Everything changes, with time. Relations change, people change, thoughts change. All the world has evolved since its inception: from unicellular organisms to the human being; from a bunch of neanderthals with sticks to protect the cave to an army with SMGs or RPGs; from a heavy stone wheel in a basic wood-made carcase to a nuclear submarine, a carrier or a tank. And yes, as those examples shows, not all evolution has been good. Some advances has meant destruction and death, as actually the human being is not as smart as it is supposed to be for being the most evolved animal around the world. Also, as it's always said, noone is perfect. That includes the whole human race, and so, its greatests minds.
But anyways, is not as if we should think "I wish this has never been discovered/invented". Past, has past. I mean that we can't change something that has actually past. We can't make time travels yet, but even if we could, it's theoretically impossible to travel back to the past, so has no sense to keep wondering how would have been if this or that has been different. We just have to accept things as they are and from that base try to change what we think is not right, as we are watching here in Spain now, where people is trying to change the government. Accept past is not the same than don't try to change present for a better future.
And that's the key! We can't apologize for anything that has been invented or discovered, because without any of those things, world wouldn't be as we know it today. It could be better, worse, or simply different, but not the same. And so, maybe we (you, me...) wouldn't be here today, or maybe we would be living in an apocalyptical environment, or yea, in some kind of nirvana. But think about it won't change what had happened, what had been discovered, so where you must look is to future, not past.
And I'm writing today precisely for that. Things evolve, and I won't stay back. In History, everything has been evolving, but in a single human life, things also evolve, of course in a lower scale. And as in History, humans also use the past to see what they should change to make the future a better present than was the past. There is a phrase that says: if you don't have good memories of the past, make them in the present to have them in the future. Is the same with everything. And so, I'm starting, as I said at the beginning, some kind of new age for my blog. Another phrase I like: this is not the end, is another begin.
So, what will be different from now on? Well, there is something obvious to begin: I will make all posts in dual, in english and spanish, so the alternative english blog I've made, and I had stopped, will be senseless now. Of course they will start with the spanish version. Maybe just the posts where I put pieces of novels I'm writing, and that is another new, won't be in dual, just in spanish. But well, maybe I will start a novel in english so those posts would be only in english. As I said, that is another new: I will start posting those kind of things, those novels I use to write, and leave before finish, but never show them to anyone. And the last change: posts won't have the same structure for titles they were having. Now, as in this post, I will use just a phrase or something similar that has relation with the content of the post. The phrase may be in english, may be in spanish. But to translate a single phrase is not a hard work so I think is not a big problem.
And what will keep being the same way? Well, of course my ideals are still the same. Maybe I'm a bit more sceptic but for facts of life, personal life that is meaningless here and now. Anyways, the way I think about all the stuff (theology, politic, and so on) will be seen, as always, in the posts. With time you can easily know how I think about almost everything. Also, the structure of the blog will be the same: colour, gadgets, shape. But as always, I want to remember you can freely comment. Comment any post with any phrase at any time. And if you have some advices for me, for the blog, or for any other reader, it will be most than welcome. Ye olde cat won't get mad. You know, I love argue, that is not discuss, so the more the merrier!
Also, some funny stitches will keep appearing in the posts, as I love to laugh and I'd love to be able to make other people laugh. Life is sort. And seriousness is boring.
I will also keep using famous phrases, cause I love them, and I'll put some of my own phrases here. Phrases that sometimes come through my mind and just for don't type them anywhere, they completely come out of my (tiny) mind. Also, maybe I will post some poems. I write poems both in english and spanish sometimes, but I'm not sure I will translate spanish poems to english or vice versa, because, you know, you lose the rhyme translating them. Anyways maybe I will just to let everyone see the meaning of the poem.
And I think that is all by now. I'm thinking that tomorrow I will post a piece of a novel I started to write not so long ago, so, as I said, probably will be a just-in-spanish post. But keep visiting the blog, now you can enjoy it even not being spanish!
